The Ministry of Internal Affairs successfully held a one-day refresher workshop on Comprehensive Legislative Policy Development on March 19th, 2025. The training was facilitated by the Parliamentary Counsel's Unit under the Officer of the Attorney General (OAG) and brough together key leaders and technical officers across the Ministry.
All Directors, Heads of Agencies, and key personnel from departments under the Ministry were formally instructed to attend. The workshop aimed to strengthen participant's understanding of legislative development processes, ensuring alignment with the 2025 Annual Legislative Plan.
This timely initiative is particularly significant for departments like the Department of Urban Affairs and Planning (DUAP), providing a valuable platform to enhance legislative strategies and improve the quality and effectiveness of legal frameworks under review.
