The Vanuatu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) facilitated a Port Vila CBD reconstruction update and consultation forum, bringing businesses and key stakeholders together to discuss the rebuild.
Nik Regenvanu, Manager of the DUAP Project Management Unit presented an update on the programme and engaged directly with participants. The forum gave the business community an opportunity to hear from the team, ask questions and discuss the way forward.
VCCI’s published account highlighted a strong turnout and constructive discussions between government and the private sector. The meeting helped strengthen understanding of the rebuild and the importance of continued engagement with businesses.
Established in December 2025, the Project Management Unit coordinates and facilitates agency discussions and stakeholder engagement for the CBD rebuild. VCCI provides an important link with the business community, helping ensure updates reach businesses and their perspectives are heard.
